Can the sash in a fixed ProLine casement be replaced?
The February 2007 vintage cutoff applies specifically to fixed ProLine casements. Identify the product before proposing a sash replacement.

The answer
February 2007 is the key vintage cutoff. The local hail guide identifies fixed ProLine casements manufactured from February 2007 onward as candidates for sash replacement. Earlier fixed ProLine casements require full-unit replacement.
The 20-year rule, frame condition and replacement availability still apply. This guidance is specifically for fixed casement windows, not every fixed window or patio-door panel.
Start with the existing product.
Send overall interior and exterior photos, a readable product label or serial number if available, and close-ups of the area in question. Identify the room and elevation so the photos can be matched to the correct opening.
Use the window identification photo checklist to get started. For a storm project, the hail documentation guide explains what information to collect.
Product identification, frame condition and current replacement availability need to be reviewed together. These pages explain product and local service guidance; they do not determine an insurance company’s coverage decision.
