The essentials

Use the public request forms without creating an account. Submitted projects and attachments are not public. Scott signs in separately to review them. This website does not sell request information or use it for targeted advertising.

Who to contact

This is Scott Dunfield’s contractor resource and project-request website, under the Scott the Window Guy name. Scott is a Trade Sales Consultant with Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha/Lincoln.

For questions about your information, email sdunfield@pellaomaha.com or call 402-505-1116.

What you choose to send

Request forms collect the contact and project information you enter: name, company, email, phone, project address, scheduling preferences, questions, notes, and product or installation details. You may also upload photos, plans, takeoffs, PDFs and other supported documents.

Send only information relevant to your request. Before sharing a homeowner’s or another person’s information or photos, make sure you have permission. Please leave out passwords, payment-card information, Social Security numbers and unrelated financial or insurance records.

How the information is used

Scott uses your information to answer questions, identify products, review damage or project needs, prepare quotes, arrange meetings, and follow up with you. Relevant details may be shared with the Pella Omaha/Lincoln team supporting estimating, product review, installation or your project.

A submission sends Scott an email alert with basic project and contact details and a link to his private inbox. Uploaded files and full project notes remain in the project workspace rather than being attached to that alert. Submitting a request does not place an order or enroll you in a marketing mailing list.

The contact form on Work With Scott submits your message to the same private project inbox and sends Scott an email alert. No email app or visitor account is required. If a submission fails, the page keeps your entries visible so you can retry.

Cookies, drafts and saved contact details

The request workspace uses a necessary, secure browser cookie to recognize your form session and keep your uploads separate from other visitors’ files. The guest cookie expires after 30 days. Scott’s sign-in may also use cookies managed by the hosting platform.

Unsubmitted drafts are saved in this browser’s storage. If you choose “Save my contact information,” those details can fill later requests: a guest profile is associated with that browser session, while a signed-in profile is associated with that account. Avoid saving personal details on a shared device.

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser. Doing so can remove drafts and end access to a guest session; it does not delete requests already submitted to Scott. Blocking necessary cookies or browser storage may prevent the forms from working.

Hosting, email and security

The site uses ChatGPT Sites, Cloudflare hosting and storage, and Resend for notification emails. These providers and email services process information needed to operate those features. Hosting providers may also collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, request logs and security or usage data.

The form’s spam protection uses temporary limits and hashed network identifiers. The application stores hashes rather than raw IP addresses for those limits. Server-side checks restrict project-inbox access to Scott and file access to Scott and the submitting visitor’s authorized session or account. No website or email service can guarantee absolute security.

The alternate-bid landing page uses optional Meta Pixel advertising tracking only after you select Accept. It sends page-view and successful quote-request events to Meta to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, page URL and advertising cookie identifiers, and may associate activity with your Meta account. Our event code does not include your form answers, name, email, phone, project address, notes or uploaded files; automatic configuration is disabled. You can decline and still use the form, or change your choice using Cookie preferences in the landing-page footer. Browser Global Privacy Control keeps this tracking off. A consent choice is stored in this browser. Withdrawing consent stops future events but does not erase data already sent; Meta cookies can be removed through your browser settings. Tracking is not installed on the private inbox. No Google Analytics has been added. Hosting-platform operational or usage collection is separate. See Meta’s Privacy Policy. Links to Pella, contractor websites and other external resources take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Keeping and requesting changes to your information

Submitted requests, uploads and related correspondence are kept for project follow-up, quoting, service and business records. Submitted project records do not currently have an automatic deletion schedule.

Contact Scott to ask about your information or request a correction, a copy or deletion. Include the project name or request reference if you have it. Scott may need to verify your identity before acting. Some information may need to remain in project, business or legally required records.
